Job Summary

The Clinical Professional Development Specialty Educator is responsible for enhancing professional practice and the provision of quality patient care in the identified specialty throughout hospitals in their assigned division.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • 2+ years clinical education experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Perioperative/OR Care
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership
  • Currently licensed as appropriate to education in the state of practice in accordance with law and regulation
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS)
  • Specialty certification as recognized by the American Nurse Credentialing Center

What Experience and Education is Needed for this Role?

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • 2+ years clinical education experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Perioperative/OR Care
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership
  • Currently licensed as appropriate to education in the state of practice in accordance with law and regulation
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS)

PREFERRED:

  • Preferred Master's degree in nursing
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership
