Mayo Clinic is searching for an innovative and proven leader to serve as the Chair for our Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Sleep Medicine at our academic medical center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Invigorating vision and strategy to innovate and grow the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Sleep Medicine and be able to articulate and execute that vision
• Prioritize business strategies to position the division for the future
• Drive innovation across Practice, Education, and Research
• Foster collaboration across the organization to provide the best patient outcomes
• Effective management
• Recruit top talent to sustain Mayo Clinic’s vision of being the most trusted partner in healthcare

Requirements

• Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine; will also accept Board certification in Allergy-Immunology
• Eligible for full Florida licensure required
• Academic rank of Professor preferred; rank of at least Associate Professor is required

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Board certification in Allergy-Immunology
• Academic rank of Professor preferred; rank of at least Associate Professor is required

Skills

• Strong understanding of collaboration between critical care medicine, transplant medicine, and interventional pulmonology
• Adept at mentoring junior staff
• Ability to build relationships and network globally
• Recognized as an expert in their field
