About the role

As a Division Director in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at MO-SSM Health SLUCare Academic Pavilion in Saint Louis, MO, you will lead a team of physicians and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex respiratory and sleep disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical operations, including patient care, research, and education.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
  • Conduct clinical research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Train and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current medical license to practice medicine in Missouri.
  • At least 10 years of relevant clinical experience in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
  • Experience in academic medicine and teaching.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
