Division 8 Detailer - Remote

Responsibilities
- Produce accurate shop drawings and submittal packages using COMSENSE
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Develop complete door, frame, and hardware schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and vendors
- Perform material takeoffs and verify project quantities
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and accessibility requirements
- Manage revisions and maintain project documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware) detailing experience
- COMSENSE proficiency is required
- Experience detailing a broad range of commercial project types, including healthcare, education, hospitality, multi‑family, government, industrial, and office projects
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, life safety requirements, and ADA standards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- DHI certification is a plus
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Experience working closely with architects, general contractors, and installation teams
