District Sales Manager - Southwest
Position Overview
Alora Pharmaceuticals is seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) with a proven track record of success in building and leading top-performing sales teams. The DSM will direct a team of approximately 10 sales representatives, focusing on achieving maximum profitability and growth aligned with the company’s vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a high-performing sales team
- Observe and identify market opportunities and challenges, and develop action plans to positively influence these factors within the team
- Coach and provide performance feedback to team members to support their professional growth
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts, including MDs and office staff
- Identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and develop strategies to drive business or overcome challenges
- Present training and other corporate materials with advanced presentation skills
- Show strong problem-solving skills and clinical product knowledge
- Manage computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Pass pre-employment background, motor vehicle, and drug screens
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical industry, with previous management experience required
- Ability to travel frequently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interface with different departments throughout the organization
- Advanced interpersonal skills for coaching and performance feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders
- Highly effective organizational and business analytical skills
- Strong documented sales results and solid clinical product knowledge
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass pre-employment background, motor vehicle, and drug screens
- Previous sales management or sales leadership experience required
