District Sales Manager - Indirect (Midwest)
About the role
The District Sales Manager (DSM) role is focused on driving profitable revenue growth across a defined geographic territory within Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions' Process Industries division. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, excellent relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
- Create demand and develop opportunities
- Support channel partners and execute Watson-Marlow's sales process
- Identify growth opportunities and strengthen customer relationships
- Increase market share and deliver sustainable revenue growth
- Collaborate with manufacturer representatives, distribution partners, application engineers, product specialists, and internal commercial teams
- Drive customer success by identifying opportunities, influencing specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the process industries
- Experience with peristaltic pumps, positive displacement pumps, tubing, hoses, parts, and the Aflex Hose product line
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of industry trends and customer needs
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Pay
The salary range for this role is USD 108,749.00 - 135,936.00 Salaried. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate’s expertise.
Schedule
This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing for remote work within the Midwest Territory (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin).
