- Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time
- Starting Pay: Competitive Base salary plus solid commission
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Saturday (depending on business needs)
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of the district, including sales, customer service, human resources, administration, and marketing.
- Develop and execute territory strategic plans to achieve business goals and performance metrics.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of district sales activity, trends, and opportunities.
- Lead and participate in weekly sales meetings, conference calls, and business review meetings.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate Agency Managers and Sales Agents to maximize performance and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective or disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Organize and manage sales contests and incentive programs to drive results and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with Agency Managers to implement marketing initiatives and develop weekly and monthly business plans.
- Train and support managers and agents in customer service, sales techniques, vendor relations, and company procedures.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve agency performance and efficiency.
- Manage district budgets and allocate resources effectively to support business objectives.
- Ensure agency opening and closing reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Address customer and employee concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Maintain regular communication with Agency Managers, District Managers, and Sales Leadership regarding agency performance and operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships that support agency growth and district success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and professional experience may be considered.
- Sales management experience required; district or multi-location management experience preferred.
- Insurance industry experience required; an active insurance license is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial and operational reports, including profit and loss statements, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals, drive business growth, and achieve performance objectives.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable for achieving business objectives.
