Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees Agency Managers and is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining positive working relationships within Captive agencies and support departments.
  • Ensure company growth, proper management of agencies and proper execution of day-to-day activities.
  • Manage and optimize efforts in the creation and execution of marketing plans.
  • Create, implement and manage a captive budget.
  • Oversee grassroots marketing campaigns for captive agencies.
  • Prepare and present financial, sales and operations reports to the Vice President of Sales.
  • Troubleshoot and address problems as needed.
  • Act as the point of contact for all issues regarding Captive agencies.
  • Evaluate and consult on Insurance Management, Grassroots Marketing and Customer is Gold program to provide for a consistent and improved customer experience leading to top and bottom line growth.
  • Influence District Managers and Agency Managers to maximize profitability through company promotions, maximizing and optimum availability and marketing concepts.
  • Meet daily with Sales VP to review Action Plan and current Operations Projects
  • Meet with Operations Personnel to review objectives and projects to assure advancement
  • Monitor sales throughout day; make short and long term decisions accordingly
  • Assure that all Daily Deposits are made on a timely basis by agencies
  • Assure company standards and procedures are being adhered to.
  • Attend required management meetings
  • Visit captive agencies to promote sales, evaluate offices and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
  • Ensure excellent service is provided by all agents to customers
  • Immediately address areas of concerns that may arise from day to day operational activities
  • Review and update action plan to ensure that it has relevance, impact and will achieve goals
  • Conduct Monthly Performance Evaluations to review objectives and goals, analyze results, and set new objectives and goals accordingly
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly reports regarding Captive agencies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (optional)
  • Goal-oriented and motivated individual with excellent relationship building skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s relevant business experience in insurance. (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in Management of an Insurance Agency or District Manager experience of Insurance Agencies. (Preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to lead, coach, develop and motivate to deliver outstanding performance
  • Skillful application of MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Google products
  • Sound business planning and financial understanding with the proven track record of interpreting and analyzing financial information from Performance reports and Financial statements
  • Excellent sales, influencing and oral communication skills
  • “Whatever it takes” attitude to reach sales goals
  • Performance driven, with a passion for driving excellent guest experience
  • Uses a range of styles to influence and achieve engagement of personnel.
  • Knowledge of company’s standards and policies.
  • Knowledge of TDI policies, regulations and expectations.
  • P&C Personal Lines License
  • Bilingual English & Spanish (required)
