District Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Has P&L responsibility for several centers and typically operational responsibility for one center
• Interviews, hires, trains, and supervises quality center managers
• Develops and submits a business plan that includes sales forecasts, expense budgets, capital budgets, general business plans, salary budget, and manpower projections
• Manages assets, inventories, fixed investments, and rolling stock
• Maintains a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as DOT, FDA, EEO, OSHA, and others
• Maintains knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement understanding, including government and private payer
• Keeps up-to-date on the respiratory market and provides information to the regional vice president about activities of competitors and potential acquisitions
• Administers an approved salary budget in a timely and effective manner
• Maintains necessary policies, procedures, and records to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements
