District Manager

Job Summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a skilled District Manager to lead the performance success of 9-10 city and campus adjacent stores in the Eastern Burroughs NYC market. The District Manager will drive top-line sales, manage team hiring and retention, provide customer service training, and engage in strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional support strategies to achieve each store's financial, operational, and customer-service goals
• Think creatively to address each store's unique strengths and challenges
• Provide expertise on customer service challenges, team staffing, store operations, and company policies and procedures
• Affordably manage labor in conjunction with the Director of Workforce Planning, regional support team, and Store Operations Managers

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a multi-unit regional manager in the food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a customer service-oriented role
• An innate ability to build, hire, and coach a diverse part-time hourly staff
• In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, P&L analysis, customer service, compliance, human resources)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience with baking/bakery equipment/commercial kitchen equipment, a plus!
