DISTRIBUTION CLERK

About the role
The Distribution Clerk performs inventories, issues equipment, materials, and supplies, performs data entry, and maintains general warehouse housekeeping. Innovations in work procedures may result in time and cost savings. This role supports direct patient care by completing tasks that enable others to provide care.
Work involves internal contacts to resolve problems and collaborate on procedures, ensuring satisfaction and service are maintained. There are no external contacts required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventories of equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Issue equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Perform data entry related to inventory and distribution tasks.
- Maintain general warehouse housekeeping duties.
- Improve work procedures and methods to achieve time and cost savings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve mutual problems and refine work procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
- One (1) year of experience in a customer service, warehouse, or materials management department environment.
- Ability to utilize office equipment, including a personal computer and photocopier.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
Pay
Salary range: $16.78/hour – $19.39/hour. Compensation is based on experience and alignment with roles of similar scope and responsibility.
Schedule
PRN/Casual shift – Evening shift, with a minimum of 1 hour per week. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
