Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards, procedures, and operating policies.
- Manage accounts, shipping, and tracking for inbound and outbound items.
- Batch and drop orders for the repair center.
- Create all labels and use Salesforce to complete consumer samples.
- Assist with quality issues, inspections, and Grainger labels/orders.
- Maintain a weekly list of all mix pack items.
- Manage return and quality racks.
- Perform daily audits.
- Pack boxes and stack them on pallets properly.
- Secure and move finished pallets; handle empty pallets.
- Wear required safety PPE and operate duties safely.
- Keep the work area organized and clean.
- Maintain quality and production standards.
Requirements
- Must qualify for and maintain a forklift license; valid state-issued driver’s license and successful completion of an eye exam required.
- Physical ability to lift and move average-weight material continuously and heavy-weight material occasionally.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position or move inside the warehouse for 10–12 hours.
- Frequent bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, and reaching in low and high places.
- Operate computers and RF guns.
- Ascend/descend a 3-step ladder crossing over conveyors.
- Move light-weight objects or material overhead occasionally.
- Work at heights of 35–40 ft and look upward by bending the neck.
- Full manual dexterity in both hands, wrists, and arms.
- Perform visual quality inspections for product functionality and color.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- At least 6 months of prior experience in a distribution/warehouse environment; forklift driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse systems (PkMS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in counting/verification.
- Highly motivated team player willing to accept additional responsibilities and strive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in fast-changing environments.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
