Dispatcher - Last Mile

About the role

Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. The Dispatcher position is responsible for the timely communication to customers, clients, operations, and customer service on status of Fidelitone delivery routes. The dispatcher will work closely with drivers, installers, and warehouse personnel to ensure Fidelitone customers receive timely communication on delivery status.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers and installers to ensure timely delivery to Fidelitone Last Mile customers.
• Communicate with schedulers and warehouse personnel to verify accurate staging, delivery, and removal of freight for Fidelitone clients.
• Sort and prepare all delivery paperwork.
• Operate Fidelitone routing software to effectively communicate with drivers.
• Work with and assist drivers and customers to problem solve and provide excellent customer service.
• Effectively communicate incidents/accidents and report appropriately to the Corporate Safety team and Operations staff.
• Communicate cancelled or rescheduled deliveries to end customer and client.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, Dispatching, Transportation, Engineering, Business Analyst/Project Management.
• Working knowledge of DOT and Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations for Commercial operators.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients.
• Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency in Excel and Word.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior dispatch experience a plus.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 / hour
