Responsibilities
- Cook up and schedule HVAC technicians for service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Chat with customers about their HVAC issues, book appointments, and update them on service statuses.
- Keep constant contact with HVAC technicians in the field via phone or dispatch software.
- Keep detailed logs of service calls, customer interactions, job statuses, and technician assignments.
- Update the company’s dispatching software or system with accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate with the inventory and procurement team to ensure technicians have necessary parts and equipment.
- Partner with sales and service departments to align on job priorities and customer needs.
- Handle unexpected issues like emergency service requests, technician delays, or equipment breakdowns by adjusting schedules and reassigning tasks.
- Provide outstanding customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role, preferably within the HVAC industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, technicians, and other team members.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Pay
Estimated Salary: $25 - $30 hourly, based on experience and skills, plus benefits.
