Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and dispatch Service Technicians to customer locations based on service requests and urgency.
- Take customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
- Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer information.
- Optimize routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Aid in preparing reports related to job status, daily activities, and dispatched calls.
- Collaborate with the management team to forecast scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service roles, preferably in the HVAC/building automation or construction industries.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with building automation controls systems and terminology is a plus.
