HVAC Dispatcher

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and dispatch Service Technicians to customer locations based on service requests and urgency.
• Take customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
• Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer information.
• Optimize routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Aid in preparing reports related to job status, daily activities, and dispatched calls.
• Collaborate with the management team to forecast scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service roles, preferably in the HVAC/building automation or construction industries.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with building automation controls systems and terminology is a plus.
