HVAC Dispatcher

Job Summary

Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking a Full-time HVAC Dispatcher to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to determine service needs.
• Schedule and notify service technicians of work order assignments using GPS tracking and dispatching software.
• Receive check-in calls from service technicians and inform them of the next job to respond to.
• Support service technicians.
• Maintain customer repair records using the computer database to provide detailed histories of work performed at their sites.
• Manage the dispatching board to ensure maximum technician efficiency.
• Manage on-call schedules and notify technicians of their assigned weeks.
• Notify answering services of schedules and numbers to call in case of emergencies.
• Understand and utilize the service work order module and service contract.
• Participate actively in all aspects of dispatching.
• Perform various reporting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma with additional education preferred.
• Previous dispatching and customer service experience.
• Experience planning and accomplishing goals with judgment.
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines and a professional, courteous telephone manner.
• Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day.
