Dispatcher - Full Time

About the role

A Part-time Dispatcher coordinates bus operations, ensuring timely routes and clear communication with drivers and monitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and routing of buses
• Counsel drivers on operations and safety
• Handle communication via phone and radio
• Address driver and customer issues promptly
• Manage charter reservations and payroll processing
• Resolve drop-off and pick-up problems
• Perform clerical duties and assist with daily operations
• Support special projects as needed

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of radio dispatch equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Computer literacy
• Previous dispatch or driver experience
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical exams
