Dispatcher - Full Time

About the role

The Dispatcher oversees road service operations by coordinating with Operators, tracking trip performance, and ensuring timely route starts. They provide customer support by addressing questions, concerns, and managing issues such as no-shows and cancellations. Additionally, they handle emergency situations, acting as a liaison between operators and emergency services, and proactively respond to operational challenges to maintain service quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage assigned routes, performance metrics, and incidents.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service-related concerns.
• Coordinate emergency responses for vehicle operators.
• Review daily route performance and address issues impacting service.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred. 3-5 years of dispatching experience. Strong verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work flexible shifts and long periods sitting at a computer. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical, if applicable. Must be able to work shifts with flexible schedules, sitting for extended periods and working in indoor/outdoor environments.
