Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a dispatcher to join our high energy, fun, and fast paced work environment.
• The dispatcher is responsible for scheduling the drivers’ routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Work well with customers.
• Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers.
• Ensure that drivers count money collected and put delivery times on bills.
• Work with Parts Pullers to ensure the deliveries go out correctly.
• Work with drivers to make sure they know the correct route.
• Work with customers over the phone to update them on the status of their orders.
• Properly assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Great communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
• Must have an open availability, flexible, and able to work various shifts and over time.
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to meet company insurance requirements—(drivers must be 21 years old or over).
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
