Responsibilities

• Receive and review incoming orders from customers via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Determine the most efficient routes and methods for order delivery based on customer location, order size, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with drivers and delivery personnel to assign routes and provide necessary instructions for order pickup and delivery.
• Monitor the progress of orders in real-time and provide updates to customers regarding estimated delivery times and any delays or issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are properly prepared for delivery and inventory levels are accurately maintained.
• Resolve delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all orders, deliveries, and customer interactions in the company's database or order management system.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the order dispatching process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including order management systems and GPS navigation tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
