About the role

Coordinate wheelchair and cart services between the Client and employees. Ensure all data is recorded according to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Must be familiar with and abide by all Client/company regulations.
  • Work with Client Special Services Representatives to ensure all requests for services are met; escalate issues to Operations Manager immediately.
  • Communicate and interact courteously and tactfully with fellow employees and passengers if necessary.
  • Maintain all service transactions in wheelchair tracking program (Watershed and Excel) format.
  • Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from Client representatives and employees in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and distribute tablets and radios.
  • Always complete the appropriate documentation and reports in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas; maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
  • Provide general information and directions to passengers.
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public in a courteous manner.
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required.
  • Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required.
  • Must be attired in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials, with identification always visible.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in the achievement of company objectives.
  • Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources in a conscientious, cost-effective manner.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitively.
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs Seal.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or six months’ experience as an Operations Agent.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Competent in handling difficult situations.

Pay

$21.29 hourly.
