About the role
Responsible for managing transportation schedules and dispatching drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Manage transportation schedules and dispatch drivers as needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Communicate with customers and drivers to resolve any issues that arise.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail.
