This Dispatcher position is based in Jersey City, NJ. The schedule is 12:00pm–8:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Experience with drivers making deliveries in the Tri-State area
• Arrange and monitor the pickup of product(s) from outside vendors
• Assist with driver check-in (product returns and checking the driver's paperwork for accuracy)
• Check cleanliness of trucks to ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed
• Investigate truck accidents and prepare accident reports

Requirements

• Knowledge of Straight Trucks, Tractor/Trailer, Non-CDL Trucks, Material Handling Equipment, and DOT requirements
• Road Net and Fleet Dash Cams experience a plus
• A proven track record in Service, Attendance, and Reliability
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with drivers, customers, Customer Service, Sales, and company staff
• Must be organized and able to multitask
• Able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
