About the role

HARP Home Services is a dynamic, rapidly-growing HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing company seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to join their team at their Windsor, CT location.

Available Shift

Either Friday - Monday OR Sunday - Wednesday

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize routes for HVAC Service, Electrical, and Plumbing Technicians
• Answer incoming phone calls from existing customers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Enter all ticket information correctly into the computer system
• Reschedule appointments
• Create dispatch numbers for all parts ordered
• Follow up on part orders
• Schedule appointments for part installation

Requirements

• A minimum of one year customer service experience (dispatch experience is preferred)
• A professional appearance
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers
• A strong customer service attitude
• The ability to plan and schedule work rather than just react
• The ability to "think on your feet" to provide customers with needed information for their specific installation or repair
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Strong computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn customer service management and scheduling/dispatch software
