Dispatcher

About the role

As a Dispatcher you will be responsible for ensuring customer deliveries are picked and dispatched to required timelines to ensure excellent customer service. You will ensure all drivers are running efficiently and departing with the correct goods within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer orders are picked and deadlines met by preparing products ready for dispatch.
• Assign and plan routes for drivers to efficiently utilise resources.
• Oversee warehouse operations and ensure all processes and procedures are carried out correctly.
• Check and put away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock-taking program, ensuring all stock is correctly located.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and computer literate.
• Good communicator.
