Every successful delivery starts with great coordination behind the scenes! At Ferraro Foods, our Dispatchers play an important role in keeping transportation operations running smoothly. From coordinating routes and communicating with drivers to resolving delivery challenges, our Dispatchers help ensure products get where they need to go, on time. We’re looking for a Dispatcher who’s organized, dependable, a strong communicator, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Working On Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including driver schedules, routing, and load planningCommunicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to keep deliveries on trackMonitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and provide updates on delays or changesAnswer incoming calls and help resolve delivery issues, driver concerns, and customer inquiriesSchedule and confirm pickups and deliveries, ensuring freight is readyAssist with backhauls, common carrier shipments, and transportation coordinationProcess orders, bills of lading, shipment logs, and other transportation paperworkMaintain accurate dispatch records, system updates, and daily operational reportsTroubleshoot scheduling conflicts, delivery delays, and unexpected operational challengesWork closely with Transportation, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teamsCross-train in routing, dispatch, and logistics functions to support daily operations The Ingredients for Success Strong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to multitask, prioritize, and think on your feetComfortable handling a high volume of calls and coordinating multiple moving partsAbility to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to work independently and collaborate with a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent work-related experiencePrevious experience in transportation, dispatching, logistics, or distribution preferredExperience with routing or transportation management systems, such as RoadNet, preferredFamiliarity with freight coordination, carriers, or third-party logistics (3PL) preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here Play a key role in keeping our transportation and delivery operations movingEnjoy a fast-paced environment where every day brings something differentWork closely with drivers, transportation leadership, and teams across the businessOpportunities to learn and grow within transportation and logistics The Details Schedule: Mon - Fri, 12:00 AM - CompletionPay: $70,000Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-ExemptBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid holidays, and additional voluntary benefit offerings Apply today and help keep every delivery moving!
