About the role

EquipmentShare is hiring a Dispatcher at its rental facility in Lubbock, TX. The role supports customers, coordinates dispatch requests, schedules drivers, and monitors driver availability while delivering high‑level service.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service with all customers.
• Coordinate and initiate customer dispatch requests and changes with the sales team and other departments.
• Manage final dispatch responsibilities, scheduling drivers to pick up and deliver equipment to and from customers.
• Monitor drivers’ hours and scheduling to ensure availability for delivery responsibilities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, email tools, and comfortable learning new technology.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment and the rental industry.
• 1–2 years of general dispatch experience in construction or manufacturing (highly desired).
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma; trade‑school certificate preferred.
