Role Overview

We are a fast-paced, growing wholesale auto parts distribution company serving Illinois and the 6 surrounding states. Our mission is to provide efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of quality parts to our customers. We’re currently seeking a Warehouse Dispatcher who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems, managing logistics, and keeping things moving.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate delivery routes for drivers
• Assist Drivers daily in loading delivery trucks accurately and efficiently
• Locate missing or misfiled parts prior to driver departure
• Take incoming calls from drivers and provide real-time problem solving and support
• Track parts inventory to ensure availability and accuracy
• Communicate with warehouse team to locate or replace lost items
• Adjust routes and dispatch plans based on traffic, driver issues, or customer changes
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, part issues, and driver reports
• Ensure drivers leave on time and with correct manifests and parts

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior dispatch, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred (auto parts industry a plus)
• Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
• Technical: Basic computer skills (routing software, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and assist with loading trucks
• Personality: Organized, reliable, calm under pressure, and team-oriented
• Environment: Must be comfortable working in non-climate controled warehouse environment
