Dispatcher

We are searching for a Service Dispatcher in a high paced heavy work load with high volume atmosphere. Each day provides a variety of new work orders to assign, dispatching technicians to service heavy equipment repairs, and communicating throughout the day with customers and technicians as workload evolves.

Responsibilities

• Manage open job and track work orders from opening to completion
• Review work orders prior to billing, debriefing technicians as needed
• Maintain dispatch board to ensure efficiency of workload with the assistance of GPS
• Create and maintain rental contracts as required
• Review timecards for accuracy and proper allocations of labor times
• Work with other departments as needed
• Manage preventative maintenance work load

Qualifications

• A quick thinker with a calm disposition
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Keen orientation to detail
• Neat and organized work habits
• Proven follow through on daily tasks and projects
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of heavy machinery a plus
• Familiarity of geographical areas in/around Wilson, Raleigh, Durham, etc.
• Previous dispatching service technicians preferred
• Winning attitude and approachable personality are necessities
