About the role
We are seeking a Service Dispatcher to manage a high-paced, heavy workload environment. The role involves assigning work orders to technicians, dispatching them for heavy equipment repairs, and maintaining communication with both customers and technicians throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an efficient workload by managing open jobs and tracking work orders from start to finish.
- Review work orders before billing and provide necessary debriefs to technicians.
- Create and maintain rental contracts as required.
- Verify the accuracy of timecards and allocate labor times appropriately.
- Collaborate with other departments and manage preventative maintenance workloads.
Requirements
- A quick thinker with a calm disposition.
- Keen orientation to detail and neat, organized work habits.
- Prioritization and follow-through on daily tasks and projects.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery is a plus.
- Familiarity with geographical areas in/around Wilson, Raleigh, Durham, etc.
- Previous dispatching experience with service technicians is preferred.
Qualifications
- Winning attitude and an approachable personality.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
