Dispatcher

Position Overview: Our Dispatchers play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating moving pieces, communicating with teams and customers, and being at the center of fast-paced, day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch operators, drivers, and rigging crews to job sites on a daily basisSchedule crews and equipment using dispatch software to ensure efficient job executionSecure routing plans and permits for oversized and overweight loadsServe as a point of contact for customers - answer inbound calls, help size equipment needs, and assist with scheduling crane servicesCollect and review employee timecards daily and submit weekly reports to the branch manager and payroll teamSupport the office manager, sales team, and other staff with day-to-day administrative tasksParticipate in team meetings, including daily planning (whiteboard) sessions and occasional management discussions Qualifications Comfort working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general data entry systemsStrong communication skills and the ability to work with both internal teams and external customersSolid organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skills and attention to detailSound judgment and problem-solving skills Barnhart Offers Competitive salary and performance bonus$1 for $1 match on 401(k), capped at 10% of PayHealth Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holidays, Long and Short term Disability, Life Insurance and other benefits that will be discussed in more detail during your interview processBarnhart CARES family care and community service opportunities PURPOSE – Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
