The role You'll be the go-to contact for a group of AFC's independent-contractor driver partners, from their first dispatch onward. You'll report to the Director of Driver Success & Retention. Success means every driver gets a same-day callback, a real answer, and a reason to stay. What You'll Do Own the relationship with your driver portfolio and return every call the same business dayRun documented 30/60/90-day check-ins with new driversTake driver concerns from the first call to resolution and keep drivers updatedCoordinate home-time requests with DispatchExplain settlement status and route disputes to the right specialistSpot at-risk drivers early and lead retention conversations What You Bring 2+ years in a driver-facing, customer success, or account management roleCalm, clear phone skills, including difficult conversationsFollow-through that closes every loopComfort working across multiple systems and keeping accurate notes Nice to have Experience with independent-contractor (1099) driver programsMcLeod, Samsara, or similar TMS/telematics toolsWorking knowledge of settlements or HOS What You Get Competitive base pay of $60K to $74KMedical, dental, vision, and 401(k), with coverage starting the first of the month after 60 days80 hours of PTO per yearWeekly payA clear path to grow, with leaders who know your name Where you'll work Tampa HQ, 1120 E Kennedy Blvd 5 days in office.
