Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Jockey's chassis within the confines of the company property
- Inputs and upkeeps information into companies ERP system
- Transports raw materials and supplies to and between production facilities
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
- Affords assistance to workers in loading and unloading truck
- Performs duties in a safe manor; wear always required PPE
- Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and drivers log and procedure manuals
- Competent in shop math
- Physical Demands: Must pass & maintain physical eligibility under DOT standards
Work Environment
- Moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
- Risk of electrical shock and vibration
- Wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions
- Natural outdoor weather conditions
- Appropriate PPE is required
