Description Job Title: Dishwasher / Prep Cook Float (PART-TIME) Location: The Springs at Tanasbourne, 1950 NE 102nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97006 Pay Range: $17.02 – $21.23 per hour Position Type: Part-time, non-benefited, 23 hours per week Schedule Sunday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Dishwashing)Monday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Pantry/Prep)Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Pantry/Prep) Grow Your Culinary Skills with a Supportive Team The Springs Living at Tanasbourne is seeking a full-time Dishwasher / Prep Cook Float who enjoys fast-paced environments, learning new skills, and working with a team that feels like family. This unique Float position offers hands-on experience in both dishwashing and prep cooking, with the flexibility to shift between roles as needed. You’ll be part of our back-of-house team, helping to keep operations running smoothly and our residents well-fed. What You’ll Do Wash, dry, and properly store dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipmentMaintain a clean and sanitary dishwashing and prep areaSupport the Chef and kitchen team with basic food prep tasksCook seasonal, regional meals from scratchFollow food safety and hygiene standardsEngage with your team and contribute to a fun, professional kitchen environmentFlex between dishwashing and cooking duties depending on team needs What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a kitchen environment (dishwashing and/or cooking) preferredFlexibility to switch between roles as neededStrong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detailWillingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organizedFriendly, team-oriented attitudeMust pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningMust have consistent, reliable attendance — our residents and team count on you!
