The Springs Living at Tanasbourne is seeking a part‑time Dishwasher / Prep Cook Float who enjoys fast‑paced environments, learning new skills, and working with a team that feels like family. This unique Float position offers hands‑on experience in both dishwashing and prep cooking, with the flexibility to shift between roles as needed. You’ll be part of our back‑of‑house team, helping to keep operations running smoothly and our residents well‑fed.
Location: The Springs at Tanasbourne, 1950 NE 102nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97006
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, and properly store dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary dishwashing and prep area
- Support the Chef and kitchen team with basic food prep tasks
- Cook seasonal, regional meals from scratch
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Engage with your team and contribute to a fun, professional kitchen environment
- Flex between dishwashing and cooking duties depending on team needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (dishwashing and/or cooking) preferred
- Flexibility to switch between roles as needed
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and stay organized
- Friendly, team‑oriented attitude
- Must pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening
- Must have consistent, reliable attendance — our residents and team count on you!

Pay
$17.02 – $21.23 per hour
Schedule
Part‑time, 23 hours per week
Tuesday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm (Dishwashing)
Wednesday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm (Dishwashing)
Thursday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm (Dishwashing)
