About the role

The role of Disabilities Coordinator involves providing support and accommodations to employees with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and conducting training sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess employee needs and provide appropriate accommodations
  • Ensure compliance with ADA and other disability-related laws
  • Conduct training sessions on disability awareness and accommodation options
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to implement effective support systems
  • Monitor and report on progress towards accessibility goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Disability Studies, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in disability services or related field
  • Knowledge of ADA and other relevant employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with disability-related software and tools

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
