Director, System Parking & Transportation - F/T - Days

About the role

The Director, System Parking and Transportation oversees all parking and transportation functions across UCI Health facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and accessible services that support patients, visitors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and development of parking infrastructure and transportation programs
• Implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures
• Quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Capital planning and vendor management
• Budgetary performance and financial accountability
• Direct oversight and management of parking and transportation coworkers
• Selection, orientation, training, performance management, and professional development of assigned coworkers
• Collaboration with facilities management, public safety, patient experience, human resources, and senior administrative leadership

Requirements

• Strong skills in management and operations planning
• Prior management experience in Parking Services or similar size and scope
• Minimum 5 years’ experience and thorough working knowledge of Parking Services Program Operations
• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ direct supervisory/management and customer service experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Current knowledge of State/Federal laws & rules (AQMD, ADA, CA Vehicle Code)
• Thorough working knowledge of parking services programs, policies, procedures and operational facilities

Qualifications
