About the role
This role is part of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and is accountable for overseeing the delivery of bulk drug substances to the customer network, including storage and shipping. Key responsibilities include defining long-term product volume scenarios, aligning site strategy with customer needs, and managing the supply chain end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term product volume scenarios and align site strategy with customer needs
- Understand and manage risks and opportunities
- Support site in developing overall strategy to ensure alignment with the portfolio and network S&OP
- Ensure effective resource allocation and planning across the site to support customer demand
- Work with Headquarters, Global Planning and Strategy to understand product scenarios, business deliverables, and risk management
- Build capability within the Site Supply Chain Team for best-in-class supply planning and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with EHS and GMP expectations during daily logistics tasks
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset and capability across the team
- Develop a talent pool that represents inclusive diversity and future needs of the Samsung Biologics Global Network
- Develop succession capability within the team to ensure sustainable performance
- Manage key stakeholders and participate in Supply planning and Procurement meetings
- Develop team members' capability to execute planning and scheduling tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in supply chain standards and management tools
- 3-5 years direct supervisory experience
- 5-7 years in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics field, preferably in a GMP environment

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $161,000 to $216,000 plus an annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary based on experience, industry, and other factors.
