Department

Purchasing Summary

• Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating Supply Chain operations.
• Plans for the uninterrupted purchase of supplies and materials.
• Directs the purchasing function.
• Establishes inventory control strategies.
• Ensures systematic analysis of data and implements group purchasing contracts and conversions.

Required Education

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Required Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• In lieu of a High School Diploma/GED, 9 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Additional Information

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating Supply Chain operations. The Director also plans for the uninterrupted purchase of supplies and materials; directs the purchasing function; establishes inventory control strategies, ensures systematic analysis of data and implements group purchasing contracts and conversions.
