Director/Senior Director, Client Delivery Lead (Consulting)
About the Role
BlastX Consulting, a digital consultancy, is seeking a Director/Senior Director, Client Delivery Lead with eight or more years of experience leading high-stakes engagements in management consulting or digital transformation consulting. This role offers real P&L ownership and client accountability, focusing on guiding clients toward a disciplined, high-ROI approach to customer experience (CX). You will lead cross-functional consulting teams, build trusted client relationships, and drive account growth while ensuring every engagement reflects quality, rigor, and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead client delivery and own the success of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring every project, program, and touchpoint delivers value, insight, and excellence.
- Identify and elevate opportunities to expand client partnerships, developing account strategies aligned with client goals to grow BlastX Consulting’s footprint.
- Set the tone for client service excellence by overseeing delivery standards, client communication, and internal coordination.
- Lead cross-functional teams with purpose and accountability, coaching consultants to deliver their best work while growing their consulting skills.
- Build trusted executive relationships by deeply understanding client organizations—their goals, context, and culture—and guide engagements that drive meaningful impact.
- Help clients make smart, often tough decisions by breaking down complex challenges and structuring actionable recommendations.
- Foster alignment across BlastX teams and client stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Champion AI enablement by evaluating and adopting agentic and AI-assisted workflows that accelerate delivery while keeping AI use governed and outcome-driven.
- Coach and mentor team members, guiding their progression along the capability career path.
- Develop best practices, tools, and training to advance capability expertise and power client success.
- Collaborate across capabilities and client service lines to integrate standardization and best practices into the delivery model.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role in management consulting, CX, or digital transformation consulting/agency.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and/or Tealium.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Deep expertise in managing expectations, communicating risk, and building long-term, trusted client relationships.
- Strong commercial instincts for expanding accounts and introducing new service opportunities.
- A disciplined, impact-oriented approach to analyzing challenges and developing actionable solutions.
- Strong financial and business acumen to lead, adapt, and make decisions with agility and confidence.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills tailored to executive and technical audiences.
- Experience creating or participating in thought leadership efforts (e.g., blog posts, industry events, speaking engagements).
- Self-motivated, high-energy professional who thrives in both independent and collaborative settings.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment
This role is fully remote and open to US-based candidates only. Work authorization in the United States without sponsorship is required. You will collaborate with the Vice President of Strategic Advisory, Consulting Leaders, Growth team members, and other subject matter experts.
Pay
Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000, based on experience.
