Who You Are
You will directly manage a team of Sales Execution managers and lead sales calls. You and your team will be accountable to create programming, gain customer alignment and ensure proper execution of National Account programs. Your team will sell upleveled execution of retailer programs designed to drive shared business objectives at Regional banners of National Chains as well as at retailer market and district manager call points.
What You're Good At
- Managing & Developing a team of Sales Execution Managers (SEM) to up level program execution
- Coaching and feedback on pre-call, in sales call, and post call with team of SEMs
- Lead and own sales calls with top business unit customers
- Responsible for program expectation communication to DSD field teams
- Formulate compelling customer focused presentations with shared growth objectives that accelerate the development of the DSD beverage portfolio via mandated off shelf displays and incremental cold availability
- Work with customers, internal personnel and distributor partners on all setup paperwork/portal documents as needed
- Plan out monthly, quarterly and yearly promotions with the key contact for each assigned account & report those to the relevant Customer Ops & Regional Salesperson for cross-functional alignment
- Work cross-functionally with Finance/RGM on promotional analysis and sell-in ROI
- Work with DSD team to ensure all monthly promotional activity is being leveraged and executed (90% + level)
What You Contribute
- 7+ years’ experience working within DSD beverage
- Strong background in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to travel – expected travel 30%+
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of DSD system within the Beverage industry
