About the role
As a Data Engineer at Immuta, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration and scalability of data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing data infrastructure to meet changing business requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and infrastructure components.
- Perform regular monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines to ensure high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering team's practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-native tools.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes.
Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Knowledge of machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
