Director Reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in various government payment systems including DSH, IME, and geographic reclass
• Address and resolve cost report audit issues ensuring compliance with regulations
• Offer constructive feedback and identify professional growth opportunities for staff
• Guarantee timely and accurate preparations of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual operating budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Administration
• At least 10 years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid payment regulations
• Proficient in using computer systems and relevant software programs
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
• In-depth understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and payment rules
