Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in various government payment systems including DSH, IME, and geographic reclass
- Address and resolve cost report audit issues ensuring compliance with regulations
- Offer constructive feedback and identify professional growth opportunities for staff
- Guarantee timely and accurate preparations of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual operating budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Administration
- At least 10 years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid payment regulations
- Proficient in using computer systems and relevant software programs
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- In-depth understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and payment rules
