Job Duties

Serves as a key resource and provides government reimbursement support; develops/implements related payment strategies across the network.

Oversees the preparation and review of the annual Medicare/Medicaid cost reports filings.

Provides guidance related to participation in state-level supplemental payment programs and assists with regulatory research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Administration.
  • 10 years interpreting Medicare and Medicaid payment regulations and optimizing revenue.
  • Demonstrates ability to use the computer system and all applicable software programs.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulation and payment rules.

Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting/standing.
  • Frequent keyboard use.
  • *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
