Director, Project Planning & Development - Healthcare
Summary
This position will be responsible for leading and executing Kraus-Anderson’s (KA) business development and project planning for the assigned geographic area.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Works in direct collaboration with the Market Sector Construction Executive to align with KA’s growth strategy
- Identifies potential customers, business partners and develops strategic relationships
- Affords clients in early project development (facilitating in-house and external resources as required)
- Facilitates facility assessment, development, programming, pre-construction, site selection, identifies alternative funding sources and entitlements
- Affords assistance in proposal and interview process and strategy
- Led office business development meetings and manage/track all business development activities and reporting
- Promotes and supports seller doer culture among Project Managers
- Develops annual marketing and business development plans
- Affords assistance in development of business unit’s strategic planning efforts
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders in developing annual sales goals
- Affords assistance in tracking and booking sales during the course of the year
- Affords assistance in developing opportunity and key account strategic and tactical plans
- Prepares annual marketing budget
- Active in related trade associations
- Active in the local economic development community
- Attends trade shows and educates government agencies on construction delivery models
- Develops new market initiatives, assesses new markets and analyzes business opportunities
- Led and promotes community involvement activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture and/or Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations or related coursework
- Minimum ten years related experience
- Understand the duties of a Construction Manager and Project Manager duties
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Healthcare construction experience
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy
- Travel 10-25%

Pay
Salary Range: $118,000 to $174,000 annually, plus company vehicle and discretionary incentive program. While the range listed represents the anticipated hiring range for this position, offers at the upper end of the range are uncommon. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
