Retail bank is modernizing and building the bank of the future. We are seeking a seasoned Platform Product Manager to lead a high-impact team within the Bank Modernization organization. This role requires extensive experience in financial core and banking platform modernization to drive the strategy for core abstraction services and real-time financial posting. You must possess a robust understanding of the US payments landscape, including direct familiarity with networks and rails such as ACH, Wires, RTP, and FedNow. You will lead a dedicated team of individual contributor product managers to execute complex roadmaps that enable seamless, well-managed transaction authorization and ledger integration. Your expertise will be critical to power a modern, scalable architecture that fuels the next generation of consumer banking experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-impact team within the Bank Modernization organization to drive strategy for core abstraction services and real-time financial posting.
- Execute complex roadmaps enabling seamless, well-managed transaction authorization and ledger integration.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Capital One’s Product Framework, focusing on five key areas:

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 5 years of Product Management experience.
Qualifications
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
- Recent, hands-on experience driving impact within a fast-moving Fintech corporation.
- Robust understanding of the US payments landscape, including direct familiarity with networks and rails such as ACH, Wires, RTP, and FedNow.
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
- New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Product Management
- Philadelphia, PA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
- Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
- Wilmington, DE: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
