Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Transaction Management function across DCM, ABS, High Yield, Syndicated Lending, and Leveraged Finance.
- Apply extensive industry/market/product knowledge to lead execution of large and complex financings.
- Develop execution strategy and objectives for designated product area(s).
- Maintain transaction management policies, procedures, and supervisory framework; lead regulatory, audit, and governance interactions.
- Oversee diligence, documentation, and approvals (e.g., FINRA filings, Reg M, record retention, deal disclosure matters, regulatory and jurisdictional oversight).
- Ensure proper credit approvals, MD approvals, and DSUM requirements for all deals.
- Handle deal due diligence and all aspects of controls, including approving execution milestones and closing readiness.
- Review, approve, and sign legal documents.
- Coordinate with Syndicate desk, DCM, and internal and external legal counsels.
- Serve as escalation point for legal and operational issues.
- Lead audit and exam responses.
- Mentor junior execution staff.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree.
- Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses.
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Experience leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital-raising spectrum.
- Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products.
- Proven ability to develop, nurture, and monetize “trusted advisor” client relationships with senior executives.
- Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree with a Finance focus.
- 14–16 years of related work experience.
- 6–8 years of management experience.
Pay
Annual base salary: $233,300 – $275,000.
