Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy & Governance: Execute enterprise-wide Nature Made pricing and go to market strategy across complex omni-channel environment, product segments, and customers. Develop pricing governance frameworks, guardrails, and approval processes to ensure disciplined, profitable decision-making. Lead price elasticity analysis, competitive benchmarking, and margin optimization initiatives.
- Amazon & Walmart Commercial Finance Support: Serve as the strategic finance partner for the Amazon and Walmart account teams. Build and manage customer specific pricing models, promotional ROI analyses, and profitability assessments. Support Joint Business Planning (JBPs), long term negotiation strategies, and annual agreements. Provide guidance on key account dynamics including: Retail media investments, Trade spend optimization, 1P vs 3P considerations and Cost-to-serve.
- 3P E-Commerce Strategy & Support: Lead financial and pricing strategy for 3P marketplaces (e.g., Amazon 3P, Walmart Marketplace, other third-party channels). Drive decision-making on assortment, listings, promotions, and long-term marketplace strategy. Analyze profitability, item economics, and pricing competitiveness across marketplaces. Partner with e-commerce operations to evaluate fees, fulfillment costs, logistics strategies, and opportunities to improve contribution margin. Monitor and report on 3P performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and optimization strategies.
- Commercial Finance Leadership: Provide financial guidance and decision support to the commercial and sales organization. Create and maintain financial models for pricing, promotions, trade investments, and long-term contract evaluation. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Innovation Teams to ensure alignment in pricing and channel strategies. Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on pricing transformation, commercial simplification, and profitability enhancement. Present insights, implications, and recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in Pricing, Finance, or Strategy.
- Strong understanding and experience with omni-channel and e-commerce business models, including direct experience with Amazon, 1P & 3P marketplaces.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and decision-support skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and support major customer negotiations.
- Excellent communication and executive-ready presentation skills.
- Familiarity with pricing technology, AI/BI tools and ERP/CRM systems.
- Leadership experience managing teams or complex workstreams.
