Director of Commercial Pricing & Finance
About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Commercial Finance Director will be responsible for supporting the senior Commercial and Operations team across a portfolio of clients. The Commercial Finance Director will coordinate with the global team on all ongoing commercial initiatives, with particular focus on pricing contract renewals with existing clients. This is a high-impact, client-facing finance role for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, operations, and commercial strategy. You will be the trusted financial partner to senior client leads, shaping deal economics, protecting margins, and translating contract terms into operating discipline throughout each engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the commercial finance lead for client accounts, partnering daily with senior operations and account leaders.
- Own the commercial health of the portfolio, including revenue, margin, utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Provide financial guidance and decision support on staffing, scope changes, investment, and restructuring decisions.
- Pricing, deal structuring, and renewals
- Lead commercial structuring for new business, scope expansions, and large renewals across the portfolio.
- Build, review, and challenge pricing models, ensuring proposals reflect risk, delivery model, and target profitability.
- Cook up with the global teams on cross-market deals and standardized pricing approaches.
- Forecast the P&L for account renewals, taking into account expected revenue and operating costs.
- Identify margin risks and opportunities early, and recommend corrective actions to operations leadership.
- Contract management and risk
- Maintain a deep understanding of the commercial terms of each contract — rate cards, volume commitments, reporting obligations, SLAs, and change control.
- Ensure delivery performance is aligned to agreed terms and conditions, and that variations are captured, priced, and approved.
- Surface and manage ongoing commercial and contractual risk across the engagement lifecycle.
- Analytics and reporting
- Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight for senior internal and client stakeholders.
- Use pricing and analytics tools to model scenarios, benchmark profitability, and inform commercial trade-offs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial finance processes, tools, and reporting standards across Monks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Business emphasis preferred.
- 10+ years of experience as a commercial or business analyst, with a heavy concentration in finance and/or analytics.

- Experience with pricing and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L, including forecasting, costing, pricing, budget management, and revenue responsibility.
- Deep understanding of contract management principles, including deal structures, client solutions, and ongoing risk management.
