About the Role

El Paso Behavioral Health System is a private 167-bed psychiatric hospital in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. We provide evidence-based treatment through a wide range of inpatient, day hospital, and outpatient services tailored to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the hospital’s quality and performance improvement initiatives to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement, design evidence-based interventions, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability aligned with the hospital’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Maintain logs of incidents and complaints and manage the process for lost patient belongings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting, including at least one year of managing a related function (preferred).
  • Licensure as an RN, LPC, or LMSW (preferred).
